Christine Kehoe joined the Collaborative as Executive Director in January 2013. In January 2016, she was appointed to the California Transportation Commission. Previously, Christine served in elected office for 19 years including four years in the California Assembly and eight years in the state Senate. During her twelve years in the legislature she distinguished herself with a strong legislative record and her ability to build consensus among her colleagues.

Christine served as the chair of the Senate Committee on Energy, Utilities and Communications and she also chaired the Senate Committee on Appropriations for four years. She was a member of the Transportation and Housing Committee, Natural Resources and Water and Environmental Quality committees among others. She was a Senate member of the PEVC until she left office in November 2012.

Christine’s legislation in both houses consistently focused on the public benefit of expanding and strengthening California policy for renewable energy, energy efficiency, alternative fuels and vehicles, resource protection and water quality and conservation.

Christine was first elected in 1993 to the San Diego City Council and served there until 2000. From 1997-2000 she was a member of the California Coastal Commission. She lives in San Diego with her spouse Julie Warren.

    Janea A. Scott is one of five Commissioners on the California Energy Commission.  The Energy Commission is the state's primary energy policy and planning agency.  

    
Ms. Scott was appointed by Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. in February 2013 to serve as the Commission's public member, and she is currently the lead Commissioner on transportation, western regional planning, and the 2014 Integrated Energy Policy Report Update.  Beginning in 2015, Ms. Scott will serve as the chair of the California Plug-In Electric Vehicle Collaborative, a public/private organization focused on accelerating the adoption of PEVs to meet California’s economic, energy and environmental goals.

    Prior to joining the Energy Commission, Ms. Scott worked at the U.S. Department of the Interior in the Office of the Secretary as the Deputy Counselor for Renewable Energy and at Environmental Defense Fund in both the New York and Los Angeles offices as a senior attorney in the climate and air program.  Ms. Scott was also an AmeriCorps member working at the San Francisco Urban Service Project from 1996-1997.  Ms. Scott earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado Boulder Law School and her M.S. and B.S. in Earth Systems from Stanford University.

    Josh is responsible for advising and assisting the Executive Director and Chairman in development and implementation of the PEV Collaborative strategic plan, goals and policies to accelerate plug-in electric vehicle sales in California.  In addition, he oversees day-to-day operational direction across all programs, including leadership and guidance to staff. He maintains strong relationships with Collaborative members, leads business development activities and management of the workplan.   Josh holds MS and BS degrees from the University of California, Davis, and has authored several scientific publications.  Josh drives electric!   

  • Lisa Chiladakis

    Manager, Technology & Programs

    Lisa Chiladakis has worked to promote Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEVs) and on ZEV programs and policies at the California Air Resources Board since 2000.  She joined the PEV Collaborative in 2012 and leads projects and oversees dissemination and development of Collaborative work products to support workplace charging and charging at multi-unit dwellings.  Lisa also advises the executive director and staff on PEV trends as they relate to technology, market growth and infrastructure.  This role includes being a liaison with the Governor’s Office and other state agencies on PEV related issues.  Lisa has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

    Communications Advisor

    Gennet develops new concepts to communicate and disseminate work products to members and the public. Gennet’s long career in outreach, media and public affairs honed her skill in translating highly technical concepts into public-friendly communication pieces. She oversees the development and distribution of regular eBlast communications, provides content updates to the PEV Collaborative website, manages statewide ride-and-drive events and contributes her expertise as writer and editor. Further, she leads logistics-related tasks for the PEV Collaborative staff and Executive Director. Gennet holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from California State University, Sacramento.

    Alex is finishing her BA degree in sociology, law emphasis and minor in managerial economics at the University of California, Davis.  She anticipates graduating in summer 2016.  Alex supports the PEV Collaborative team with social media, meeting logistics, research, and report development and review, and administrative tasks.  During her time with the PEV Collaborative, she is developing her diplomacy techniques and professional skills.
